- This scholarship supported by Societas-Verbi-Divini (SVD) is for those who are faculty members of universities and plan to pursue a Ph.D. degree at the College of Science and Engineering of Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU).
- Two newly enrolled Ph.D. students will be granted with either NTD100,000 (two semesters) or tuition exemption for the first academic year.
- For application (for the newly enrolled Ph.D. students), please submit or email the following materials to the department or the institute in which you are interested before the end of February: (1) the application form of admission for graduate study, (2) the application form of SVD scholarship, (3) one copy of transcript of undergraduate or graduate degree, (4) two recommendation letters, and (5) vitae.
- The second-year Ph.D. students are also eligible for this scholarship. The application materials include the application form, one recommendation letter (from thesis advisor at FJCU), and the transcript (last semester at FJCU). The materials have to be submitted to college office in the first week of semester. (The tuition of graduate student in FJCU is required only for the first two years.)
- Second-year and senior Ph.D. students are encouraged to apply teaching assistant (T.A.) and research assistant (R.A.).
